The Tara Court
Degree Team, from Suffolk County, NY performed their first Major
Degree in 1974 and has conducted Major degrees throughout the
United
States and Internationally ever since.
They were chosen to
be the first Degree Team to perform in Ireland at the 1978
Convention in Killarney. If five in a row constitutes a dynasty,
then the Tara Court established themselves as a Degree Dynasty
at the National Conventions in Miami(1980), San Antonio(1982),
Albany((1984), Buffalo(1986), Boston(2005).
In 1991, the
National Board of the AOH chose the Tara Court Major Degree team
as the training team for states wishing to form their own Degree
Teams. We have held that important responsibility since
then, and have helped launch Degree Teams across the country.
